Why it matters
WebMCP tools exist only while a page is open. An MCP server is how an agent uses you when it is not looking at you — from a chat client, a scheduler, another agent. It is also the surface with the most adoption today by a wide margin.
How to fix it
Publish a server card at /.well-known/mcp.json pointing at your endpoint, and make sure robots.txt does not disallow the path it points at.
